I've been purchasing computer hardware since 1994, with over $1,000,000,000 in purchases in the independent channel.
Purchases in the independent channel are unique, specifically because the product is purchased at pricing that significantly less then the traditional distributors (Ingram, TechData, Synnex) are paying for the product. I'm able to achieve these lower prices by working closely with my suppliers, educating them on the different discount programs that exist, to empower them to engage the manufacturer with a deal that gets their attention. Together we work with the manufacturers to close multi-million dollar transactions thus enabling the manufacturer to achieve their sales goals, providing a win-win for all parties involved.
My skills over the last 14 years have been developed from experiences you can only truly have during the inception of successful and growing corporations. I've had to create processes for all product and information flow throughout the organization, which has caused me to develop a very linear thought process.
That linear thought process bleeds into my business development with supplier partners; I strive to explain every step of the process clearly so success can be realized as quickly as possible - thus maintaining the interest of the partners with which I work.
My specialty is working closely with people to tenaciously chase all available opportunities, thus making them money.

I started Millennium Memory, a 3rd party computer memory manufacturer, with my brothers in 1994. Our low inventory positions and a precipitous fall in memory pricing enabled us to avoid the huge inventory write downs which plagued our competitors –that, coupled with a surge in memory demand created by Windows95, help us to achieve profits unprecedented in the industry. This profitability gave us the flexibility to provide superior customer support to our VARs. We leveraged these strengthened VAR relationships with liquidity from an IPO to purchase white box computer manufacturer, NetRam Computers. We sold high-end computers to our VAR's corporate customers and competed with eMachines' sub $599 system in the largest retail accounts of the USA. The lessons I took from that experience are priceless. I have successfully coupled those lessons with relationships old and new to create much success for my personal and professional life and the lives of those with which I interact.
