Group Finance Director at Tikit Group PLC
Twickenham, United Kingdom
I am a chartered accountant with extensive experience in commerce in industry.
I am a member of the institute of chartered accountants in england and wales (ICAEW)
A few short bullet points follow summarising my experience:
- I am experienced in and like working in entrepreneurial businesses. I have been the FD of two private equity backed businesses and one AIM listed business.
- The challenges of high growth businesses are nothing new to me. Tikit has had circa 30% annual profit growth over the last 3 years. This is part organic and part acquisition led.
- I have experience of and enjoy getting involved in acquisitions and disposals. I have taken a VC backed business through the trade sale process. I have worked on a number of acquisitions.
- I have raised bank financing in the current market conditions. I have also previously worked in a highly leveraged business and managed relationships with bankers.
- I have also raised PE / VC financing in a previous role.
- I have very good analytical skills which come in useful when looking for risks and opportunities.
- I have excellent financial modelling skills which I enjoy applying to corporate valuations.
- I have experience in and enjoy making presentations to private equity investors, institutional investors, analysts and bankers.
- I have implemented new accounting systems in my last two roles.
My ideal FD role would be with growing company (either organically or by acquisition) with turnover in the range of £10m to £60m.
