Joining Thames Water as a Performance Business Partner, I soon realised I missed the enjoyment of leading a team. Consequently, I moved across into Operations. I led a team of 80 staff responsible for controlling the performance of the London and Thames Valley wastewater system. It was a great experience, completely different to my previous finance roles, and it provided some rewarding challenges.
