TELEVISION:
(High Noon Entertainment: HGTV, The Food Network)
- Researching story angles, companies, and people over the phone for national, cable television shows on The Food Network and HGTV.
- Coordinating television shoots (including hiring crew, writing detailed itinerary with well thought-out executions for meals, travel time, call times to avoid the entire crew going into overtime, etc.)
- Managing crew in person while following the action in three different, moving cars.
- Managing talent (homeowners, house movers) over the phone and in person.
- Interviewing talent (homeowners, house movers, etc.) on camera.
- Following assigned story line while keeping an ear out for the big-picture story to communicate and align with second producer.
- Maximizing opportunities for fourth and fifth camera with two DV cameras that would typically act as a 'stunt cam' or 'timelapse cam.'
- Writing detailed shoot plans including itinerary, suggested questions, and shot list for freelance producers and photographers.
- Working with photographer and audio person to become a fluid, mobile entity with eyes and ears on the story at all times.
