October 2006 — Present (2 years 1 month)
With the transformation of Philips Semiconductors into NXP Semiconductors, this is the continuation of my expatriate assignment to an international IT project for global software and process standardization. Headquartered in the Netherlands, my main assignments have been in Austria, Germany, China, and India (with focus on finance and controlling areas).
Key activities of each assignment: travel to site, analysis of site's systems and procedures (with focus on legal and fiscal requirements), helping effect seamless improvements to the project's standards as needed, provide training on our SAP software solution (principally FI and CO modules), participate in change management discussions, assist with customization and implementation of the software and related interfaces, aid in data migration activities, and provide follow-up support.
Other activities: train/mentor new project members, maintain/monitor select masterdata/interfaces, support colleagues on other assignments. -
