The association elects 7 members of the Board of Directors in annual elections. The Board members elect the association officers from among themselves.
Working closely with the government and other private/public entities, PSIA leads the efforts to promote the Philippines as a preferred choice for offshore software.

Scala Business Solutions Philippines, Inc. (SBSI) was a wholly owned subsidiary of Systems Standard Inc. SBSI was formed to represent the SCALA integrated business application software in the Philippines. SCALA’s international head office is based in the Netherlands while its regional base was in Singapore until the mother company was acquired by EPICOR in 2003.
During my SCALA stint, I positioned the Philippines as the regional training center, allowing the local team access to training resources from the European HQ as well as networking opportunities with the regional office and other SCALA partner offices.
