Van Ballantyne’s Summary
Van began his business career in 1980 and has worked as an Accountant, Financial Controller, CFO and Vice President Finance for small and mid-size businesses in the greater seacoast area.
Van earned his BS degree from the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire and his MBA in 1992. He is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and holds the ATP designation (Accredited Tax Preparer) from the National Association of Accountants.
Van is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and has served as Chairman of the Board, Ambassador Chair, Treasurer and Executive Committee member. He mentors business students at the University of New Hampshire and has lectured at the local high school, the national FastTrac program, and the BUZGate organization.
In 2003 Van’s office was recognized as Business of the Year among seven local towns and in 2005 Van was recognized as Fiducial’s National Franchisee of the Year.
