Jim Dovey’s Summary

Systems and applications software engineer, working mostly with Mac OS X. I have worked on various levels, from raw ABIs and linkers to networking protocols to application UIs. I have previously worked on Windows, Palm OS, and Linux. My recent work has been chiefly focussed around the iPhone and the Apple TV. Also known by the alias of 'Alan Quatermain', under which name I have written software for the Apple TV and taught others to do the same, as part of the AwkwardTV project.
