I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions within a handful of companies that are very well known in the high tech industry: IBM, ROLM, AMPEX, LITTON, LORAL, MARTIN_MARIETTA, NCR, AT&T, SYMBIOS, LSI LOGIC, ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES.
I've soldered for military contracts, built cables used in missle silos, learning the difference between commercial and government work standards.
I can build and maintain databases using Access, put on dazzling Powerpoint presentations, and give you colorful, accurate charts in Excel that use OLE.
I am frequently called on to help my co-workers out of their PC predicaments, and enjoy the instant gratification of seeing others relieved at having their information reappear.
I can scrutinize and mine for data, and whip up departmental web pages.
I set up production assembly lines, ordered materials, filled out and tracked shortages in kanban bins, and moved, cycle counted, and inventoried material!
I analyzed company financials for credit ratios, deciphered D & B Credit reports, & remained calm in Customer collections.
Tracking calibration certificates, auditing, and being audited, changing costs to match commodities with quarterly price rolls, and buying whatever you might need to do your job, and loving every minute.
I dare say I have an unmatched enthusiasm -- bringing fun and enjoyment to work that relieves the person I am working for to know I am extremely capable of learning many new things and flexing with every curve ball thrown my way, so there is little to ever worry about. I will get things done, and in an exhuberant way!
