Chuck Norman is Executive Vice President of S&A Cherokee. S&A Cherokee is a full service media company skilled in creating strategic communication strategies for clients. Areas of expertise include public relations, marketing, advertising, print and electronic publishing and event management.
Norman's background includes experience in public relations, marketing, event management, branding, advertising and publishing. He has also been involved with extensive work in governmental relations and economic development. He has developed lasting relationships with local, county and state elected officials. In addition, he has been directly involved with development and infrastructure planning for the Town of Cary through a number of Intercity Visit projects across the United States and Canada.
Norman is very active in both professional and civic organizations and has served or is serving on a number of boards of directors. Currently he serves as a board member on the Raleigh Public Relations Society, the North Carolina Public Relations Society, the Cary MacGregor Rotary Club, SearsStone and was recently elected to the board of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce for 2008.
Prior to joining S&A Cherokee Norman was most recently the vice president of communication and governmental relations with the Cary Chamber of Commerce. He was with the chamber for seven years.
Norman earned his B.A. in communication with a concentration in Public Relations from North Carolina State University. He later graduated from the Organizational Management Institute at the College of Charleston.
