I am currently a Partner at Kroll Talbot Hughes, specialising in helping clients in distress address both their operational and financial problems. I am relatively new to the world of restructuring, having spent part of my career at Unilever and then at Andersen Business Consulting, primarily focussed on project management of programmes to deliver significant change.
Therefore I bring both consulting and restructuring experience to the distressed market. Specifically this entails dealing with the real time issues a crisis requires, but doing so by refocussing teams within the business to solve the problem and therefore avoid an advisor led solution. Going back to my consulting roots I always try to leave our clients confident in the new way of working and able to work effectively without advsior input.
In the longer term I am looking to take a more direct role in siutations that involves joining the management teams of business and taking an equity interest.
