Contracted with CYD, Planned Parenthood, and the Proposition 85/87 campaigns to canvass neighborhoods in a coordinated GOTV program to help urge residents to vote and to help persuade them to vote No on Prop. 85 and Yes on Prop. 87. This program was partly successful, as Prop. 85 was rejected by California voters.

Worked with both the Advance Director and the Assistant Campaign Manager to help plan and organize events, advance event locations, set up photo opportunities, communicate with members of the press, build crowds and work with and recruit volunteers. Additional duties included: when needed, working with the Outreach Coordinator and Regional Field Organizer to help field organize, run phone banks and increase voter involvement; working with senior staff in the planning and implementation of opposition tactics (including an opposition press campaign, with a full media operation involving press releases and interviews with a number of newspapers and radio stations) which succeeded in derailing the momentum of the opposing candidate.

Co-founded, organized the concept development and implementation, and ran the media operations of a non-profit charity website; the goal of which was to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Press campaign was based around contacting web, radio and print media outlets to arrange interviews and promote the website.
