Mark Hopwood’s Summary

Today I have two roles:
- I am CTO with Snow Valley, specialists in e-commerce software services
- I'm a non-executive director with Arclight Media Technology, the company behind Zoomf.com

I started out doing all the traditional IT jobs: development, analysis, design, testing, team leading, project management. I became a business analyst at Thomas Cook and then went into consulting, including 3 years in the IT Management practise at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

I've been involved in technology and business management in the digital space since 2000, working with Agency.com, i-traffic, Agency Republic and Fullsix in a variety of roles, and with great clients like BA, Orange, BT, Ikea and Procter & Gamble. I was CTO at Deal Group Media plc from 2004 to 2006, where I led the rebuild of their ad-server platform.

The British Computer Society has recently granted me Chartered IT Professional status.
