Starting July 2008 moved to a different organization. We provide consulting and support to Java Licensees.

Before July 2008 - Actively involved in implementation of new features and enhancements for J2SE Hotspot Java Virtual machine versions 6.0 and 7.0 as well as bugfixing. Me responsibilities include:

Platforms: Solaris, Linux and Windows. Architectures: x86/x64/Sparc

Participation in the feature determination
Early prototyping
Feature implementation

Back-porting fixes

Discussions with clients about performance and missing functionality
Lectures (talks) about the Hotspot internals and performance tips

Analysis of JNI bottlenecks, comparisons against other native interfaces
