Prior to founding Bid Perfect I held the position of Commercial Director for Office Depot in the UK and Ireland. Before that, I was Commercial and UK Sales Director for Supplies Team in the UK and Ireland. I have also held senior sales positions at Corporate Express and Xerox. I can demonstrate a gold-plated sales career since 1984.

Bid Perfect exists to improve the management and effectiveness of bids for our clients. Most major contracts can only be won through participation in a rigorous tendering procedure and many companies let themselves down at this vital and defining moment in the sales cycle. The simple fact is this: a great bid may not win you the deal, but a poor bid will lose it for you in an heartbeat.

Bid Perfect provides:

- Bid Management Consultancy to help increase win rates and improve the effectiveness of bid resources.

- Bespoke training workshops to enable first time tender writers approach the task confidently and for existing writers to re-visit their skill sets. This includes a unique series of training modules developed to re-focus writers on benefits, brevity and good commercial practice.

- Proofreading, editing and authoring as a resource for SME organisations or large corporates needing an “overflow” service.

- Web content management. A little known fact is that about 85% of websites are not working for their owners. Most tellingly, surveys have shown that poorly written web content, lacking in benefit statements and containing spelling and grammatical mistakes is the primary reason for casual surfers leaving a site. Bid Perfect helps by reviewing and revising web text so that it is more readable and more focused on its customer.
