Hugh Allspaugh is a highly accomplished, award-winning Marketing Strategist with 20 years of experience developing and implementing innovative marketing plans that drive profitability.
He has a proven track record of enabling business growth for brands including Citibank, American Express, HSBC, Sears, AT&T, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Shell, Kraft Foods and Nestle.
His agency experience includes Ogilvy & Mather, Euro RSCG Worldwide and JWT for whom he has worked and lived in New York City, London, Los Angeles, Portland, and Chicago.
Hugh is uniquely skilled with both Consumer and Business-to-Business campaigns where he has lead the integration of broadcast television, print, radio, direct mail, digital, trade and experience marketing channels.
In 2005, Hugh started his own marketing consultancy, Marketing Independence, Inc. in order to work directly with corporations and senior level decision makers. Clients include Reichmann Petroleum Corp., Sears Financial Services, and HSBC.
Now Hugh has combined his strengths with Martyn Dean in the form of Three Lions.
Hugh is a graduate of Southern Methodist University (’87) and currently lives in Chicago with his wife and two children. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Advertising at DePaul University.
