Market Development Executive at IBM
Greater New York City Area
As Market Development Executive on IBM's Global Small and Medium Business team, I lead the strategy and execution for developing the market for women-owned businesses in Asia. As the success of women-owned businesses greatly contributes to the economic development of many countries, I help address the needs of an underserved community and enable it to better contribute to the global economy. This position also includes helping with the strategy, content and rollout of a Small and Medium Enterprise Toolkit that IBM recently upgraded for the World Bank.
I also lead the strategy and marketing for IBM's Base of the Pyramid initiative, which is identifying ways to leverage technology to address the needs of the 4 billion people who make up two-thirds of the global population but individually earn less than $4 a day.

- business development, especially for emerging markets
- sustainable development, focusing on the base of the pyramid and other underserved communities
