The company also owned Continental Restaurants which operated Mexican restaurants and Hamburger House. During my employment, the company "exploded the clown" in Jack in the Box TV advertising in their attempt to break with their reputation as a cheap drive-through burger joint, and introduced the first specialty sandwich, the "Chicken Supreme."
