ABOUT Jim Bonfield - Jim began his interactive marketing career in 1994 with the creation of The Online MovieClub, which he later sold to McClatchy Newspaper's Sacramento Bee in 1996. Shortly thereafter, Jim accepted a position with The Sacramento Bee as their Online Business Development Manager creating online marketing products and solutions for small and medium sized businesses that included The Bee's internet service provider, AccessBee, The TicketClub, SacTicket.com and one of the nation's first local, online-directory sites for SMBs, Sacramento.com in partnership with Surewest Yellow Pages.

After a nearly six-year stint in that position, Jim accepted a Vice Presidency with Travidia, in charge of interactive marketing for their online retail division. Soon after that decision, seeing the writing on the wall regarding the future viability of the newspaper industry (Travidia's only client market at the time) and realizing that Google would soon control the known universe, Jim decided to launch his own company, EyeballFarm Interactive, to pursue interactive SMB advertising exclusively. This resulted in the development of intellectual property including optimized content management systems for the automotive direct marketing industry (SearchEngineups[sm]) as well as an early entry into the consumer generated content space with ChannelPipes(sm) and the RSS feed space with FeedSource.

These tools have enable EyeballFarm to created hundreds of SMB advertising solutions and search engine campaigns for client lead generation using Google, Yahoo and MSN for clients ranging in size and geographic targeting from local and regional companies like GolfUSA, The Closet Doctor, ATM Mortgage, Raley's BelAir, Sutter Health, Sacramento Magazine and more than 50 auto dealers nationwide, to international entities like Pebble Beach Resorts, Disney and The California Travel and Tourism Bureau.
