Chris Irish’s Summary

MVP Status in multiple field operations roles! I set the bar a little higher than the competition with a "swing for the fences" perspective in performance, delivering results, and doing it right the first time around. Why settle for good when you can have excellent?

Proven and endorsed hands-on telecommunications director of field operations, field operations manager, engineer, supervisor, and systems deployment professional with sustained record of upward mobility. Notice the emphasis on the word "FIELD" in my current and previous roles. I have a shelf-life in a cubicle of about 72 hours!! My geographic preferences are Georgia or the Carolinas in the southeastern U.S, however would certainly contemplate an expatriate assignment in the the following regions;(respectively)Australia, New Zealand, Greece, or Ireland.

Extensive experience in cell site and central office EF&I, WAN, PSTN to NGN convergence, SONET, Wireless, Wireless Location Systems, Lightguide, Outside Plant, Cell Site Build Out, Systems deployment and commissioning.

You can talk about your dreams and aspirations or you can go out and make them happen. My own personal adopted philosophy runs along these lines as a quote attributed to several different people: "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow - What a ride!'"
