As one of two front-end web developers on the official World Cup web site team, I built a variety of components of this prominent site including the Adidas Goal Counter and the embedded video player (both on the home page), the Adidas Golden Zone, Golden Ball and Golden Shoe sections, and the McDonald’s Fantasy Game which drew 875,000 registered users. The site delivered 4.2 billion page views during the month of the World Cup tournament.
