I have over 20 years experience as an entertainment lawyer, business affairs executive and strategic advisor. My particular expertise lies in media and entertainment, with an emphasis on new digital media.

In my career, I have acted as an advisor to companies such as Viacom, the Walt Disney Company, Paramount, Time Warner/Turner, Showtime Networks, USA Networks, and Canal + (France), to name just a few, and participated in the raising of over $100 million in venture capital investment and production financing.

In 1999, I was one of the founders of a Web 1.0 start-up that was among the first companies to attempt to exploit the digital revolution in the marketing and delivery of filmed entertainment. Subsequently, I assisted in arranging a refinancing for RKO Pictures, one of Hollywood's oldest film studios. Following that, I was actively involved in structuring and securing the initial investment for MSE Inc, the creators of the areaconnect.com technology. MSE, a private company, was recently sold to Marchex, Inc., a world leader in search marketing and online advertising, for a very significant return to its shareholders.

More recently, I have joined MovieSet Inc. as COO. MovieSet is a cutting edge Web 2.0 company whose platform offers web-based marketing and e-commerce solutions for the motion picture industry and allows movie fans to engage with films while they are in production.
