Consultative Sales Professional, Organisational Consultant and Counsellor. With over 20 years IT Industry experience, a BACP Accredited Diploma in Gestalt Counselling, a technical background and over 10 years in high value sales, Nigel has a rare blend of skills.
Nigel developed a strategic model of selling to Systems Integrators at Rational Software, and has a thorough knowledge of the software development space. He has also managed reseller channels in Ireland, UK and South Africa . Rational was acquired by IBM in 2003 and Nigel subsequently joined Relativity, having won IBM's Fast Forward Programme, IBM Leadership Award and Presidents Club for exceeding sales targets. Since then Nigel has expanded his experience by working in the mainframe modernisation development space and more recently focussed on the problems of distributed development with technologies like CollabNet and SubVersion-on-Demand.
In recently years he qualified as a hypnotherapist, a Gestalt Counsellor and an NLP practitioner. He volunteers weekly at a Youth counselling charity and is studying for an MSc in Psychotherapy.
He currently works for Axa ICAS, the worlds leader in Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) as a consultant to P&G, Citi, Lehman Brothers, Johnson and Johnson, DuPont, Dow Chemicals, Air Products, Symantec, Honeywell and Kimberly Clark.
