I started my career in the airline industry where I worked for 9 years, during which time I had the opportunity to pursue and achieve one of my life’s goals; to travel and experience the diverse cultures of the world!
My 23 years at Motorola led me to new found opportunities, leveraging my proclivity as a “natural born leader”. As an experienced problem-solving human resources professional, the last 4 years I was responsible for training, leadership and organization development for over 2000 employees in 12 locations worldwide. I developed a proven track record in identifying vital needs and deploying measurable solutions that drove revolutionary as well as evolutionary change. I took pride in becoming a trusted partner and coach to both employees and senior leaders spanning multiple disciplines and was able to build an extensive network through building trust and motivating others.
In 2004 my life took an amazing and interesting turn when I made a decision to take early retirement to spend my mother’s 80th-year with her to focus on fulfilling her dreams, and getting to know the phenomenal woman I called “mother”!
Today, I am in a new industry and I have never loved or felt that a position was so perfectly designed for me!! Being an entrepreneur is a natural fit pulling together my dominant skills, passions and life experiences. Growing up in Jamaica, WI, having the opportunity to travel extensively working in the airline industry and meeting people with incredible similarities and diversities; moving on to Corporate America applying creativity to initiate innovative solutions to solve critical business needs - together with my childhood experiences always encouraged me to find something that mattered, get informed, get involved, be passionate!! As a Marketing Executive with Freelife International, I now have the opportunity to do all this and “To SERVE... …by promoting good health, well-being, and the opportunity for an abundant life!”
