- Prior to that I was recruited as Online Marketing Manager to help launch an online insurance company for the Provident Financial Group - yesinsurance.co.uk, managing the set up of infrastructure and ongoing optimisation of consumer acquisition strategies in a data-driven, cost concious environment to deliver rapid business growth which led to the sale of the company to GMAC.

- Preceding that I spent 5 years in client-facing positions at a web development agency working with clients such as Helly Hansen, Mars/Masterfoods fishcare brands, Musicians Union, and Travelodge (Eire); finishing as Business Development Manager responsible for new business sales and marketing activities, successfully adding new clients to Sense's portfolio including Merrell, South Tyneside College, Trutex and Golden Virginia.

- I started out in an all round 'office junior' type role for a creative agency and whilst my main focus was administration, I was given the opportunity to contribute to work for clients such as First Direct and Ideal Standard, which ranged from account management to prop sourcing, art direction, photo retouching and copywriting. I also took it upon myself to move the paper-based administrative processes onto the computer, and designed various databases and recording systems to do so.
