Anna Belyaev is founder and CEO of the premiere e-learning company, Type A Learning Agency. She has been actively involved in the development and application of learning technologies for over 20 years, having got her start at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) in the group that produced Telnet, Spyglass, and Netscape. Belyaev's colorful career also includes stints teaching K-12 in the US and Russia, helping universities and schools make the most of technology in their classrooms, working with specialized populations of learners (including gifted and talented, learning disabled, at risk, newly immigrated ESL, women in transition, and senior adult), and managing new media training teams at Andersen and the nation's leading healthcare information systems provider, Epic Systems Corporation.
In addition to running Type A, Belyaev has founded several popular special interest groups, think tanks, and online communities in the field of e-learning. Belyaev is also a member of a prestigious, worldwide organization of over 15,000 CEOs and company presidents—Vistage (http://www.vistage.com). A recognized industry leader, Belyaev is frequently consulted about industry trends by parties as diverse as the Italian Trade Commission and the Canadian Department of Economic Development.
