I am an innovative social media and community expert with the unique experience of developing and growing a wildly successful B2B community.
My recent career highlights include:
• Created and grew a niche B2B community from 0 to 4,000 members in 15 months while generating and sourcing the majority of the community content including personally authoring 105 blog posts
• Developed programs to drive 75,000 community visits and 320,000 pageviews
• Wrote more than 75 corporate blog posts in the last year in role as lead corporate blogger, which represented nearly 5% of overall website traffic
• Managed successful B2B user-generated content contest that generated 44 entries and more than 25,000 total hits on YouTube
• Met and exceeded performance MBOs for 12 straight quarters
Core Competencies
Besides my core skills of community strategy, community management and social media, I also have extensive experience in evangelism, product strategy and product marketing for enterprise software in companies ranging in size from start-ups to Oracle.
My recent work has been project-based and most of the work has required me to work with cross-functional teams. I became the “go-to” super project guy when my company needed to get something done especially in areas where there was no roadmap or guidelines and a creative solution was needed.
In addition, I am a quick learner with excellent writing and presentation skills, superb analytical and research acumen, and the ability to distill complex results into key insights.

Catalyze is a professional community for business analysts, usability professionals and others who define and design software and websites.
Catalyze has grown from 100 members in June 2007 to over 4,000 in July 2008.
I have been involved with the Catalyze community from its inception in August 2006 - including writing the initial RFP, selecting the vendor, working through the community strategy and then managing the community from beta launch through July 2008. My management duties included community strategy, content creation and sourcing, primary blogger, operational community management, community marketing, business development, and vendor relations.
