CEO at Neopolitan Networks, Inc
San Francisco Bay Area
Widely known for defining the Metropolitan Gigabit Ethernet networking market, Frank R. Robles has contributed to the success of many Silicon Valley companies. He founded NanoSpace, later renamed to YIPES Communications, and served as Board Secretary, CEO and Vice President of Network Operations and Deployment. As one of the first few employees of NetCom, he contributed to the launch of the company with its initial network deployment of 86 POPs. Robles was also co-founder at Coactive Computing and Tecla Software. Robles has lent his technical skills to many successful companies such as Alphablox, Apple Computers, Epyx, Hewlett-Packard, Kana Communications and Siebel Systems.
Starting Neopolitan Networks, Inc. in 2001, Robles worked with several manufacturers to develop solutions that would support his product vision. Then he combined that leading-edge technology with Neopolitans proprietary networks management software to bring the best MAN to WAN networking solution to businesses available today. Focusing on delivering the high-quality capacity and management that enterprises deserve, Neopolitan under the guidance of Robles continues to grow, despite the slow pace of the economic recovery.
