I'm founder and editor of Read/WriteWeb, a popular weblog that provides Web Technology news, reviews and analysis. It began publishing on April 20, 2003 and is now one of the most widely read and respected Web 2.0 blogs. Read/WriteWeb is ranked among Technorati’s Top 50 blogs in the world.
I'm also an independent Web Analyst, from Wellington New Zealand. I've done work for companies from all over - but especially Silicon Valley. My work includes product dev/analysis and market research reports on 'web 2.0'.
I co-founded the Web 2.0 Workgroup and up till recently I wrote for ZDNet (I now blog exclusively for Read/WriteWeb). In addition, I am a founding member and Executive Editor of Micro Media Corporation, a multi-channel leadership program in Web and Media 2.0 that operates under the brand name TransMission.
My skillset covers:
- Writing, editing and managing operations for Read/WriteWeb.
- Web/media 2.0 analysis and market research
- Web 2.0 consulting: including strategy, specs, product design, RSS and blog development, end-user documentation and marketing literature.
