Recruited to work in software testing, developed tools and software testing plans for Peakflow products. Tasked to perform security analysis for the Peakflow Blackhole project. Analyzed large-scale attacks and malware threats for our customers. Now part of ASERT research team performing threat analysis, development and prototyping, and service delivery.
Key contributions:
- Worked with others to develop prototypes of new products and services.
- Developed dozens of behavioral policies for the ATF service.
- Significant part of the Arbor Networks security marketing message (press, speaking).
- Customer interaction and training.
- Developed part of the worm detection algorithm used in Peakflow X (patent pending).
- Represent Arbor Networks in the MITRE CME project, NSP-SEC community, and several other malware and phishing research communities.
- Developed botnet tracking and malware analysis tools (dynamic, static analysis) to automate our analysis.
