I began recruiting in Houston in 1978 with one of the largest engineering placement firms. I became Manager of a major technical recruiting firm in Dallas for six years before returning to Houston as VP of Whitaker Technical Services in 1989.

My accomplishments include the staffing from start-up of two offices of major Fortune 100 firms, and a major midwestern refinery. I am highly qualified to respond to the demands of today's marketplace with over-25 years in engineering/technical recruiting

I have been recognized with numerous honors and awards at local, state and national levels. In 1985 and 1992 respectively I was awarded the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS) designations, attesting to my continued commitment to the highest standards of legal and ethical business practices.

I was honored in 1992 as the Houston Area "Consultant of the Year" and "CTS of the Year" by the Texas Association (TAPC). In 1994 I was recognized by the National Association of Personnel Services as "CPC of the Year". In 2003 the Houston Area Association recognized me for Outstanding Contributions to the Professional Staffing Industry. I am a member of the Pinnacle Society (the premier consortium of top recruiters in the US).

I conduct new-hire and on-going training for all divisions of Whitaker. I have also developed a series of training videos introducing the Fundamentals of the Staffing Industry, offered throughout the industry nationwide.

I am frequently called upon as an industry representative to speak to professional and community groups, and conduct industry training programs nationwide.
