Jen Hetzel Silbert, MSOD, supports private and public sector organizations, both domestically and abroad, delivering organization change consulting, facilitation and training design and delivery services.

Jen brings extensive experience in applying Appreciative Inquiry (positive change) to strategy development, IT process innovation and implementation, team and leadership development, organization design, and performance improvement, which she gained through her years as a consultant/manager in several corporate management consulting organizations, and later as an independent consultant and co-founding partner of an international consulting firm, Innovation Partners International. Jen’s success is grounded in her ability to help clients reframe current challenges and build upon compelling goals in a manner that is participative and informed by human and technological strengths, best practices, values, and images of the future.

Jen’s professional career began in the U.S. federal government and international development arena and later expanded into IT/business, finance, health care, education, nonprofit and families. Some of Jen’s clients include the YMCA, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the American Red Cross, the U.S. National Intelligence Community, Rhode Island Dept of Education, U.S. Department of Justice, Sprint-Nextel, the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Lutheran World Relief, Neighborhood Centers Inc., EcoLogic Development Fund, DC Sustainable Business Network, Blackbaud, and the Department of Health and Human Services. She holds dual BS degrees in economics and international studies from American University, a MS in organization development from Johns Hopkins, a TS/SCI US government clearance, and is highly proficient in Spanish.

You can find Jen, a former marathon coach, running with her dog along the shores of South County, RI, where she lives with her husband, Tony, and two daughters, Brianna and Jocelyn.
