I currently manage Yahoo's grid computing initiative. My team designs, builds and supports very large computation grids based on Hadoop and various other open source tools. We are the largest contributor to the Hadoop project! (See hadoop.apache.org)

Goals: Build and deploy a grid computing software stack completely in open source! Find and work with great people. Have fun doing it.

(Note: We use the term "grid computing" to mean shared clusters of many thousand machines inside our organization. One could call it distributed, DISC or cloud computing and we have ambitions to make it utility computing...)
