Mr. Verjee most recently served as the managing partner for a holding company which managed over $500M in committed assets across two venture capital funds and over 40 portfolio companies in the U.S and Europe. Prior to this, Mr. Verjee co-headed IMDI/Sonique (NASDAQ: TRLY) and successfully negotiated its sale for over a 200 times return on investment. Sonique was one of the two leading downloadable music software companies of its time having over three million unique users and being the fifth most downloaded application on the Internet in 1999. Previously, Mr. Verjee was Managing Director of Global Entertainment Capital which had $150M in committed capital for doing complex media asset securitizations. Mr. Verjee started his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and received his B.S. in Engineering with honors at U.C. Berkeley. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Kiva.org, the world’s first peer to peer microfinance company, and is a Charter Member of TIE.
