Job description

As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

As Director of Partner Marketing, you will be responsible for working directly with our partners and our partner-focused teams to make our YouTube creator community successful. Your business smarts and creative vision will enable you to work successfully with internal and external partners to develop and execute YouTube's strategic marketing objectives.
  • Use data voraciously to understand opportunity areas and areas of focus.
  • Work cross-functionally to align strategic efforts and ensure a delightful product experience for our creators.
  • Work directly with our partners to build co-marketing plans and think big about how to build audiences.
  • Build scalable programs to help support up and coming creators in our community.
  • Be a rock star leader with an unwavering focus on building a happy, productive team.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience).
  • 15 years experience in product marketing with core responsibilities creating and executing successful consumer marketing campaigns, as well as demonstrated experience leading international teams.
  • 10 years experience leading product marketing teams with a focus on media and entertainment.
  • 10 years experience leading marketing teams with a focus on strategy and analytics.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or advanced degree.
  • Strong leadership, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated executive leadership experience in business to consumer marketing within a leading online media and/or consumer technology company.
