Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Management or similar emphasis- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
- 8+ years directly related experience.
- Previous management experience or successful in a lead/project management capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Wide experience with process and program design.
- Highly developed analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to handle major processes, tasks and issues in implementing and administrating associate compensation programs.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Detail orientated with strong team orientation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency a must.
- Ability to accuratley manage large amounts of data.


Job Responsibilities:

  • The Compensation Manager will manage the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
  • This position will be based out of the ADP Dealer Services Hoffman Estates, IL Division headquarters.
  • Partners with Divisional Vice President of Human Resources, Human Resource Business Partners and line managers to assess the compensation needs of the business units supported.
  • Provides input and manages to the compensation department's goals and objectives.
  • Project manages large scale and/or complex compensation key strategies including needs analysis, determination of project milestones, roles and responsibilities and dates, and execution/follow through on plan.
  • Examples of such initiatives include bonus design projects, year end bonus administration, new compensation program design, etc.
  • Provides expert consultation Studies and analyzes positions.
  • Evaluates positions using established evaluation processes/systems, determines grade/compensation targets and prepares records of the validity of the evaluations.
  • Audits evaluation of positions and application of classifications to individuals.
  • Interprets and administers compensation policy.
