Senior Financial Analyst - Sales

Provide financial and decision support for various Commercial Sales areas such as revenue, expenses, and gross profit. Understand the business drivers and impact of decisions in order to provide business counsel. Understand and communicate the drivers of deviations from budget. Consult and influence (check and challenge/apply professional skepticism/pushback) during budgeting processs with business partners.

Develop and continually improve analytical capabilities, able to work through complex business issues, and provide actionable reporting in order to meet financial and strategic commitments.

Lead the completion of the annual operating plan and short-term and long-term forecasts. Assess risks and opportunities against the business plan. Update the business based on current performance.

Lead cross functional project team related to operating issues or improvement opportunities providing financial expertise as needed.

Continually improve analytical techniques, forecast accuracy, and automate, refine and improve reporting reducing data gathering time and provide actionable analysis and commentary.

Perform ad hoc analysis as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required. 4-7 Years experience in progressive financial roles supporting analytics, business planning, metrics and decision support (GUS Finance). MBA a plus.

Strong competency in relevant financial analysis and modeling.

Broad business knowledge and organizational awareness as well as an understanding of business profitability drivers.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with management, specifically Director and VP levels.

Should be comfortable operating within a dynamic and complex organizational structure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and be effective in a team-oriented environment.

Needs to be technologically savvy in order to drive effective means of reporting critical business information.

Strong work ethic and results orientation required for fast paced, customer-focused environment.

Experience with interacting with multiple areas of the business and/or finance partners.

Able to work with minimal supervision.
