About this job

Job description

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual seeking a role developing new

products and optimizing web and other delivery platforms at an established market leader. If you are looking for a perfect balance between strategy and execution, this is the role for you.

As a key member of the highly visible product development team you will be jointly responsible for uncovering new business opportunities as well as driving the execution of these opportunities with our technical development team. Role will focus on user-experience innovation (for example, mobile delivery) and may extend with time to other areas based on need and skills.

Qualitative and quantitative market research is required in order to drive user experience innovation, and having great people skills is crucial. Just as important is the intuitive ability to move towards the important vs. the interesting. This becomes especially relevant as you lead the technical teams in developing the product opportunities we uncover. Having a strong goal-orientation (vs. a task-orientation) and an anchoring on the client experience will help you navigate the decisions needed to build great product.

There is no expectation that you will be able to do everything described at a world-class level on day 1. We¹re committed to providing mentoring and development opportunities throughout to help you in that path. Your ability to succeed will be proportional to you commitment to excellence and reflectiveness and openness to feedback. We have a track record of growing our members and seeding them in key positions throughout Gartner.

  • Perform market research throughout the development process to keep the team grounded
  • Take a leadership role in conceptualizing, designing and implementing innovative solutions
  • Lead cross-functional teams with multiple product stakeholders and multiple technical teams
  • Communicate in different ways consistently and effectively to make sure things move forward
  • Track and report key metrics to help support key business decisions
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices to help enhance engagement with our clients

Desired Skills and Experience

General Qualifications:

  • Passionate about customer experience and design
  • Commitment to integrity, excellence, desire to grow
  • Conceptual thinking ability to keep the big picture in focus, discern important from interesting

  • Creative
  • Problem Solver
  • Ability to connect well with people of different backgrounds

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree desired
  • 2 years or more of a general experience within business environment is an advantage
