Job description

At, we’re looking for a Senior Director of Online Marketing who will be responsible for leading, planning, implementing and executing online customer acquisition to generate business growth in both online and offline channels. Focus will be on paid and natural search, affiliate, comparison shopping and display programs.

Position Description:

• Lead all customer acquisition efforts for to beat daily, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue, traffic and ROI targets
• Maximize revenue, traffic and profitability of Walmart’s online marketing efforts, including SEM, SEO, Affiliate marketing and Comparison Shopping Engines (CSE).
• Forecast, plan and deliver on key operational metrics, including traffic, conversion and ROI.
• Achieve transactional, strategic and multi-channel goals in a highly competitive market environment.
• Define, develop and execute overall long-term strategy for online marketing.
• Provide reporting & data analysis (with support from site analytics team) to problem solve, identify opportunities and communicate key performance trends to the organization.
• Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance.

Internal and external Partnership

• Collaborate with Walmart Stores on multi-channel marketing initiatives
• Influence and drive alignment with Walmart Stores online advertising spend.
• Manage relationships with primary vendors/agencies.
• Partner with internal product, engineering and technology teams to define roadmap and deploy marketing technology platforms.
• Lead efforts with consumer Insights and CRM teams to uncover customer insights that will help advance online strategy.
• Partner with customer marketing & merchandising to support key product launches, programming, and seasonal initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years direct online marketing experience and 10 year of total experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience recruiting, developing and leading teams.
• Experience managing SEM, SEO and affiliate marketing at scale (multi-million $ budgets).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative skills. Deep level of comfort with technology.
• Experience with deploying complex technology solutions to solve problems at scale
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• BS degree. Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative field preferred. MBA strongly preferred.
