Senior Telecommunications Engineer (Applications Consultant)

Assignment Capsule

As a Senior Telecommunications Engineer you will:  

 

  • Provide support, documentation for Humana Military’s telephony interfaces and products.
  • Perform project related tasks with little or no review / supervision.
  • Provide guidance to Application Architect and Consultants.
  • Oversee the administration of Humana Military’s Enterprise telephony interfaces; perform upgrades when necessary, monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
  • Job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, sharing 7x24x365 on call duties, documenting the network, project related development, problem isolation, limited travel.

Desired Skills and Experience

Role Essentials:

 

  • Technical knowledge and working experience in an Enterprise Call Center environment.
  • Integration with various Telecommunications, Technology and development systems.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the following:

    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 – C# with Strong emphasis on
      Multi-tier Server & Client/Server development methodologies.
    • Microsoft SQL Server Services.
    • Telephony Interfaces configuration & maintenance.
    • Capacity Planning.
    • Application Development & Lifecycle management.
    • Application Testing & Deployment methodologies.
    • Windows Desktops configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Windows Servers configuration and troubleshooting.

 

Role Desirables

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or 10 years of field related experience.
  • C# Multi-tier Server & Client/Server development experience.
  • Computer Telephony Integration experience.

 

Experiences with the following are a plus:

  • Avaya: AES, CM, CMS, One-X Agent; Nortel; ShoreTel.
  • Syntellect CTC (CT Connect)
  • Aspect suite of applications.
  • Crystal Reports.
  • Voice Mail systems.
  • Network Protocols.
  • Call Center, CTI, IVR Methodologies.
  • VoIP configuration and troubleshooting.
