Job description

The Account Representatives are responsible for achieving new business sales, revenue growth, customer satisfaction and customer retention goals amongst an existing and growing customer base. They are responsible for maintaining high activity standards, daily prospecting, pipeline growth, prospect qualification, adherence to Limelight sales methodology, new customer on-boarding process, project management, and meeting assigned monthly sales targets. 

Desired Skills and Experience

• Account Representatives are responsible for handling the “Limelight Experience” for an assigned portfolio of current clients, ensuring that all of their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
• Identify and execute on opportunities for additional Limelight products and services within assigned account base
• Meet and exceed sales bookings, billings and productivity objectives
• Daily prospecting (upselling), renewal and expansion of existing contracts
• Serve as a key point of contact and liaison between clients and various departments within Limelight Networks
• Effectively identify, escalate and resolve complex issues involving the cooperation of other Limelight functions
• Understand the business requirements of assigned clients and effectively communicate those needs to other Limelight functions when necessary
• Project manage the activation of Limelight services for new and existing clients

 

Requirements

• 2+ years successful experience as an Existing Accounts Sales Representatives focused on client renewals, client contract expansions, managing business requirements, and creating/driving account management plans
• 2+ years successful experience up-selling to small, medium, and enterprise organizations
• IT Sales and Account Management experience in the fields of streaming or content delivery, network services, digital marketing and interactive services, digital rights management, content management, web analytics, managed web hosting highly preferred
• A solid history of continual success
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and possess the ability to learn additional software applications quickly
• Excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
