CA Technologies is seeking an experienced Director, EMEA Channel Marketing for our pan-EMEA indirect routes-to-market featuring Global System Integrators (GSIs), Solution Providers, and Service Providers. This leadership position must have hands-on, practical experience in developing, creating, executing and supporting differentiated, best-practice, go-to-market channel programs, campaigns and activities pan-EMEA with similar high-value routes-to-market. Applicants must be experienced building a joint pipeline of new business opportunity leveraging innovative, multi-faceted, modern marketing programs and campaigns.

This includes all aspects of joint solution definition, internal and external marketing and awareness, joint seminars and events, joint promotions and follow-up on all programs, campaign, and activities. This position will work collaboratively with all members of the EMEA Channel Sales, EMEA Corporate Marketing, and EMEA Field Marketing teams and must be able to work within a matrixed organization as well as work well independently. Primary responsibilities will include maintaining joint program collateral, tools, co-marketing programs, campaigns, and activities while also managing reporting and governance.

Essential Functions:

• Develop strategic, multi-faceted joint marketing programs and plans with the multiple routes-to-market to drive joint global pipeline.
• Creativity and innovation to launch effective marketing campaigns that map to current B2B buying and information gathering trends: Online, Social Media, and Search. Examples of best practice campaigns welcome. .
• Define, develop and deliver ‘to’ and ‘through’ marketing programs with the high-value routes-to-market and their end-user targets. These programs include: direct mail, email, outcalls, promotions, webcasts, seminars, events, sales tools, and training.
• Understanding of complex go to market models with - software, hardware, and services partners.
• Provide consistent ROI reporting and metrics against goals set forth.
• Define and deliver joint internal and external sales tools in support of marketing programs and key business initiatives
• Create and maintain joint channel events and activities.
• Develop relationships with EMEA Field Marketing teams for leveraging joint programs, campaigns, activities, events and resources.
• Liaison with corporate divisions such as Finance, Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing, Legal, etc. to ensure channel programs, campaigns, and activities comply with corporate standards and are able to be implemented and managed pan-EMEA.
• Effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders to drive global alignment of programs and ensure satisfaction with programs.
• Ensure that every program that is developed is repeatable and sustainable.


The most competitive candidate will have the following:

• Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Marketing or Alliance Management with a minimum of 7 years developing and executing joint, strategic marketing plans with complex, high-value routes-to-market
• Experience launching sell through marketing programs with Service Providers. Past success with large EMEA Telcos and smaller Service Providers
• Experience presenting to Sr. Leadership and defending your ideas
• Experience with forecasting, reporting, and customer segmentation within a marketing related position
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Ability to take complex product documentation and write compelling, partner-facing copy that embeds a partner business proposition while achieving simplicity of message
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
