Job description

Performance Profile:

  1. Install electric motors, motor drives or other electrical circuits, wiring, equipment and devices required in the fabrication and repair of equipment. This will require a good working knowledge of electrical/electronic test equipment, soldering gun, and miscellaneous small hand and power tools.
  2. Understand and utilize tools, scopes, meters, and test stations used in instrument assembly process. Perform assembly and testing of mechanical and electrical subassemblies using engineering documentation, schematics, and procedures. This will require mechanical skills and a strong understanding of fits and tolerances.
  3. Assemble mechanical assemblies involving bearings, pulleys, belts, ball screws and various machined components.
  4. Execute and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. 
  6. Work closely with production staff and communicate effectively without the need for micro-management.
  7. Submit equipment improvement suggestions to Engineering
  8. Ensure that all paperwork is signed off in accordance with ADMET’s workflow procedures.
  9. Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times.

10. Comply with all Company policies and procedures.


Desired Skills and Experience

 The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a production environment, manufacturing complex electro-mechanical equipment, demonstrated experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, strong communication skills, and the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions. Associate's degree from two-year College or technical school is preferred. This position will reside full time, in our production facility in Norwood, MA.
