Job description

This individual will be responsible for a broad range of key duties and activities in support of the Sales Department and National Account Sales.  This will include but not be limited to contracts, contract proposals, and tracking sales.  The National Sales administrator will serve as the primary support to the Vice President of Sales, National Account Sales Executives, and Sr. National Account Administrator.  A successful candidate in this position will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and display an attention to small detail.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high professional standard for confidentiality, accuracy, and courtesy
  • Update and process national accounts contract packages, amendments, and schedules
  • Serve as the primary contact between the National Account Sales Executives to provide administrative support and information with presentations and proposals
  • Process weekly and monthly reports and calculate commissions for National Account Sales Executives according to the approved current commission programs by maintaining the Sales Report, Commissions Report, Contract Package Log, and Citrix Database
  • Assist with the various meeting preparation, including the Annual Sales Meeting
  • Calculate and process monthly national account assistance fees and national account annuity billing fees
  • Provide additional reports such as, FASB 13, Fleet Lists, Location Look-ups, and Finance Factors
  • Process leads and member location changes as needed
  • Submit a weekly travel itinerary to the team
  • Assist with the Certificate of Insurance process for all customers and maintain updates to all contract files with the latest certificates as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with National Sales/Lease Sales in the trucking/transportation industry is strongly desired
  • 4-5 years of experience in a sales administration position or similar role
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
