The role of the Workload CPR for Private Cloud is to select, recruit, enable and sell with practices to a specified revenue level in the following product areas: SQL Server Premium aligned to competitive areas of IBM DB2, Oracle, MySQL.

Your Responsibilities

A challenging and rewarding role you are directly responsible for:
1.Close the scorecard gap for a targeted product area through the recruitment of a set of practices
2.Attainment of revenue from the practices you select, recruit and enable
3.Revenue will be achieved through existing practices with low share of wallet and new practices to Microsoft
This will be achieved through the following tactics:

Recruiter Role Execution Priorities

1.Understand High Priority target Partners through Partner Leadership Team Council Coordination and appropriate stakeholders - Gain Cross Sub Agreement for the targeted practices
2.Measure and Track the Prospect Practice Funnel for recruitment in PRT (//PRT)
3.Drive Partner Sales Plan (PSP) commitments and $$ Growth
4.Drive the CPR Process: sales opportunities and demand generation with Solution Partner Account Manager (PAM), Partner Technology Advisor (PTA), Partner Strategy & Marketing Manager (PSMM), Incubation and Developer Platform Evangelism (DPE) resources where appropriate

Skills for Individuals in Role:

1.Ability to articulate the Microsoft business and technology value proposition as it relates to a partner’s strategic imperatives and growth priorities at Chief Executive Officer (CXO) and Sr. Line Of Business (LOB) Executive levels
2.Exceptional strategic business planning and go-to market development skills
3.Strong track record of partner business development
4.Can demonstrate leadership of virtual teams cross Microsoft that have driven key revenue based metrics including Corp, BMO, SMSP, EPG & Services
5.Demonstrates an understanding of the Sales Process components that include Product and Services Strategies, Channel/Partner Relationship, General Licensing, Third Party Offerings and Competitive Landscapes
6.Presentation and Demonstration Skills
7.Delivers articulate, effective and audience appropriate presentations for Solution products/technologies, strategies and initiatives
8.Generates excitement and enthusiasm for Microsoft products and technology
9.Demonstrates skills incorporating effective technical demonstrations into presentations, building customer enthusiasm, articulating the technical strategy & vision, and building awareness of new possibilities
10.Can manage conflict and escalate the problem when needed
