Job description

The Digital Marketing Associate (DMA) will assist in the development and execution of strategic, multi-platform online marketing campaigns.

The DMA will identify and generate new digital marketing opportunities to meet the goals and objectives of the Agency’s existing and new clients, identifying best practices and providing guidance along the way. The ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels is critical for success in this role, as is the importance of understanding how to incorporate digital marketing into otherwise traditional marketing campaigns.


Major Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute multi-level marketing campaigns, incorporating and testing new marketing channels and tactics
- Document and communicate best practices and recommendations
- Track, report and analyze all online campaign components, sharing findings
- Manage Weitzman’s internal communications portal. Provide regular content updates, monitor analytics and create new landing pages.
- Review website layouts; recommend site changes, new content and work closely with the Agency’s web design and development team.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Knowledge of various online marketing channels and tactics including social media, paid search, video, display advertising, email marketing, PR, and mobile
- Balances technical skills with agency experience and a general enthusiasm for advertising, branding, relationship marketing and communications
- Understanding of the social networking space and knowledge of social analytics
- Knowledge of SEO and SEO tools
- Familiarity with many of the following tools: Radian6, Webtrends, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, YouTube Insights, Facebook Insights
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop a plus
- Basic skills in HTML and CSS a plus, but not required
- Understanding of marketing best practices
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Creative thinking


Required Experience:

- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience at an agency
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
- Hands-on agency/client experience with the latest digital/social media communication methods
- PR experience a plus
