Account Executive – Inside Sales

 

Job Purpose

payvia is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive who will generate new business and grow existing business with one of the fastest growing product areas in mobile – mobile payments.   The right candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of one of the fastest growing industries around. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Meet assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop a keen understanding of the payvia value proposition, as well as an ability to communicate the value to prospects succinctly.
  • Cold call in pursuit of new business within assigned verticals.
  • Perform the full sales life-cycle, from prospecting to close, as well as account management.
  • Apply a consultative selling methodology.
  • Maintain a minimum cadence of at least 50 sales activities/day.
  • Prioritize workload effectively to ensure maximum success.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers at all levels of the organization to ensure sales success and maximize lifetime value by delivering superior customer service and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Utilize a collaborative approach and leverage cross-functional resources to solve licensing, technical, deployment or other sales issues.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and evolving trends in the mobile payments industry; understand and identify opportunities for customers.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all company and personal goals are met or exceeded.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales updates and forecasts to sales management.
  • Some travel as needed to industry events
  • Develop industry and account relationships to leverage during the sales process.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A proven track record of sales success including consistently exceeding sales goals and winning awards & accolades (President’s Club, etc.).
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience
  • Metrics-oriented, organized and has a need to win.
  • Self-starting learner who thrives under pressure and enjoys success
  • Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills
  • Experience selling SaaS, payments, or similarly complex products or services
  • Out-going, dynamic personality – proven ability to build outstanding relationships
  • “Can-do” attitude -  loves a challenge
  • Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, organized & enthusiastic
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing needs in a fast paced market
  • Excellent communication, organization and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to build client relationships, engage in consultative selling process with both prospective and existing accounts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment while also maintaining individual responsibilities
  • Desire to grow within the role
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
