Job description

The Sales Development Manager is responsible for helping drive strategic thinking, developing business insights, and managing all projects for the digital display media team. We are seeking an experienced individual to define innovative and highly effective digital programs & strategies, as well as monitor metrics and audience opportunities for Vitals.

  •  Research and analyze digital health media and pharmaceutical markets, consumer needs/usage, competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats and provide the foundation for strategic thinking across consumer media
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to develop strategic programs for the DTC marketplace
  • Manage address post-sales analytics needs including campaign  performance measurement, campaign reporting, and insights development
  • Optimize programs via insightful guidance and actionable analysis
  • Adding value to sales team’s daily efforts by leveraging media and marketing research to provide strategic recommendations
  • Evaluate contracts and manage third-party research partners and vendors including from comScore, Vizu, and others
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams from marketing to product to identify and deliver unique and innovative solutions

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales development or similar role supporting a sales team by developing take-to-market programs
  • In-depth knowledge of the DTC digital health space
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, emerging media and the Internet; specific interactive strategy experience required
  • Expertise in market analysis and identifying new business opportunities
  • Solid experience with digital reporting tools and systems
  • Demonstrated success driving sales growth through key projects
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams
