Desired Skills and Experience

Job Requirements : SHI has a dynamic career advancing opportunity in our Enterprise Sales organization as a Business Development Manager. The position will focus primarily on new business development activities across regionally located large cap prospects. This position plays an integral role in the engagement and execution of our Enterprise account acquisition strategy.  With the guidance of a local sales manager and SHI’s ongoing training and development program, a successful Business Development Manager will be equipped to position world class technology products and services to global organizations.


Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Establishing strong customer relationships at all levels (Supplier Diversity, Procurement, IT, Finance, etc.)

·         Effectively present SHI product and service offerings

·         Develop a wide funnel of software, hardware and professional services opportunities within the named account territory.

·         Position and P2P integration to all target accounts

·         Build strong relationship alliances with OEM hardware and software providers

·         Tracking and entering of all activities into CRM      


Job Qualifications:             Required Skills:

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong presentation skills

·         Working knowledge of major Software License Programs (Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Symantec, etc.)

·         Working knowledge of major OEM Hardware and Services Programs (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, Cisco, etc.)

·         Capacity to work in a team environment

·         Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and organization skills

·         Some travel is expected

·         3 years of Sales Experience              


Preferred Skills:

·         Successful outside sales experience

·         Outside Sales or Business Development Manager experience in PSG/SLED

·         Corp or Enterprise sales experience
