Job Description

BIM Specialist I

The BIM Specialist I is required to follow the direction of BIM workflow for projects in the office. The candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment with supervision from more senior staff in all aspects of the building design process. The candidate will provide support of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams and ensure the projects digital information is coordinated, quality controlled, and adheres to the firms BIM standards and guidelines.


· Producing BIM structural models for building projects

· Work with engineers to facilitate framing by importing structural analytical models into the BIM model

· Assistance on active projects

· QA/QC – Data Integrity

The BIM Specialist I will be expected to work on multiple projects with the project team including other BIM specialists and engineers.


· BS Civil Engineering with focus on Structural Engineering.

· Minumum 2 years of BIM/Revit (Structure); Intermediate Revit Knowledge

· Ability to balance a various tasks, responsibilities, and commitments efficiently and simultaneously

· Drawing production skills required.

· Working knowledge of project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principals.
